Default Replacing FXRS Cast rear wheel

I need to replace the 9 spoke cast rear wheel on my 1985 FXRS.
Not finding a lot of non-wire spoke options that fit. I'd like something close to the factory original. I find 16 by 3.000 sportster wheels all over. They look like my wheel but some folks say they won't fit.
I'm open to ideas, offers, whatever.
thanks

It is my understanding that the Sportster wheel will fit fine. There was a thread here in the past few months where a guy did just that, including pics of it mounted on his bike. Just turn the wheel around so the sprocket is on the correct side.

Use an on-line parts website to check part numbers and compare yours with other models! Also check screw size for the Sportster rotor and pulley, just to confirm they are correct sizes, I vaguely recall they may be different to the big twins. Should be possible to overcome that, unless you're drag racin'!

Just a quick tip! Simply quote the Ebay item number, eg: #273021485912, which we can pop into their search facility to find the one you have in mind.
