Hi - I want to modify my stock turn signals on my 1985 FXRS.

Step 1: I want to integrate my turn signals to be on, along with tail light.

Step 2: Eventually, I wish to modify the turn signals, then brake lights to LED.

I saw a previous thread about upgrading the round flasher relay in my headlight bucket to support the use of LED turn signals, but I don't think this will integrate my turn signals with my tail light.

Do I need the Badlands ILL-01 to accomplish both?

If I get the Badlands ILL-01 module, can I still run the stock turn signal bulbs? Or do the bulbs need to be upgraded? (ei 1156 to 1157??)

There are definitely modules out there that will do what you want, just be sure to buy once to get the full functions you are after. Badlands are a great place to start, as many of us in here have their modules, which include press on - press off function, if you don't have that at present.
