Parts Websites

Well, you can select ranges of years, the first starting at 1903. But if you select that range, the first things you can find is for 1908 models.
For 1981 and newer, you can enter your VIN number, but I haven't tried that yet to see what that brings up.
And, I found that not all of the years and models have everything available that comes up for my '96 Heritage. Some of the parts catalogs I just tried to view for some '81 bikes come up with an error saying something like "Incomplete or corrupt PDF file", and it doesn't show anything.
So it's apparently good for some years and models, not so good for others.

I found this website that offers free downloads to service manuals, repair manuals and parts manual all in pdf. Form from the beginning of Harley Davidson... The only ones I can't find are the parts manuals for fxr 86-91.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I use Harley Davidson's Service Information Portal (SIP) for my online parts diagrams. They're the only site I've found so far that shows the entire parts list, with part numbers, for all the parts shown in the diagram. Every other online parts site I've ever tried to use only shows the part numbers for a few of the parts shown in the parts breakdown picture. Once I registered and selected my bike, I copied the link and bookmarked it, now that link takes me right to my bike's parts pages.
Here's the link for the SIP:

You have to click on "Register for Access" and fill in some info, but it's free and you get access to "Owner’s Manuals, Parts Catalogs, and Wiring Diagrams". I've only used the Parts Catalogs.
I've never had them email me or try to contact me in any way, so far.

At lest the 3 different bikes I tried it wasn't good for unless I just wanted the paint codes.

Certainly does! Has a 6-pot caliper and is man enough for only one brake up front. The rear one is a wimp by contrast, with a tiny rotor and a single piston floating caliper that looks like it came off a moped. But it all works just great!
