That paint would almost be tolerable if they hadn't painted the lowers and the wheel to match...lucky they didn't powdercoat the engine yellow.

LOL, it looked better sideways, the pic was straight when loading it but lets just say it was luck something this ugly stuck to film.

Something that blows my mind is the bike is 2003 anniversary, has a dash plate anniversary badge also but we laugh and say WTF but it is a conversation item at watering holes. I ask people I don't even know if that is the ugliest bike they have seen, normal response is WTF.

Been studying some CVO paint schemes and going to blend them into my own style, silver stripe with a copper metallic accent stripe, as long as it isn't freeking yellow.

looks like a nice transformation...nice replacement color too....nice to see guys helpin a bud out, no one should have to ride that bike.....if it were just a yellow bike without the stripes an crap you could have blacked out a few things an gotten away with it.

At least it stood out in a sea of black Street Glides.

What are you going to do about the wheels?

The wheels and the painted fork lowers are the two worst things. Without that, it would not be as terrible.

Red face

Perhaps it was inspired by our Automobile Association, who used a yellow Glide back in the 1990s:

I used to work at a heavy equipment manufacturer building fork lift trucks. That was the color we painted them.

Or, it could be (short) school bus yellow.
