Default Painting A Ugly Dresser

Friend I work with bought a touring bike, got a killer price on it but the UGLIEST bike on earth. He rode with us last year, told him at the end of the riding season to tear it down because I'm going to paint it, have a reputation to keep and not riding with that bike this season. Imagine Big Bird Yellow with purple flames, pinstriped eagle on the bat wing.
Made him do all of the tear down and blocking to appreciate it more when it is done, got him a late model front wheel and getting newer forks this weekend. Attaching before pics along with new paint pics as we go.

He asked if he needed to lock it, we said no, who would want to steal that bike.

Damn I hate it when people post pictures sideways...

That paint would almost be tolerable if they hadn't painted the lowers and the wheel to match...lucky they didn't powdercoat the engine yellow.
