I'm not sure that will fit her bike, Omaha. The bike is an 87, and it looks like 86-89 use the same part, then something changed. Can you send me a pic? Text it to me.

 

Just zoomed in on your pic. She's got mid controls? I don't think I can help you. My sporty (a '97) came with forwards.

 

Yeah, mid controls. Thanks anyway. I think the arm style changed with the 5 speed. Part numbers seemed to have changed then and "fits..." lists on the web seem to have maybe 86-90 and 91-up.

 

Just checking to see that everyone is present and accounted for and made it home safely.

Final attendance was myself, THC, WP50, and Dr and Mrs Hess. Had a lovely lunch at the steak place.

Everyone but me and WP50 bugged out shortly after lunch. We hung around town, ended up downtown and just caught the tail end of the car show, went through the Roadside America Museum (The have the original casket from the Big Bopper, but don't allow photos of it), then went down to Waco for dinner. Got up early the next day and headed west and north, respectively. Everyone made it home safely.

Wow. First I heard of Mr. Weaver. Best that kinda thing don't happen to me. The paperwork would be a nightmare.

I couldn't find reference to the outcome on the 3 that did it. I hope they are rotting in prison, at a minimum.
