Looks good.. got a lot going on there. Fatboy fenders, later 70's flh tank and Speedo cluster (dash) along with the old school banana caliper.. Are those heritage spooked rims?

Oh, I have horror stories from old school banana calipers.

Good looking bike, though.

Default Slipping grinding noises ? Battery wasnt charging.

So I heard some slipping and grinding noises the other day when riding. And also noticed that my battery wasnt charging. Went ahead and took primary and everything off to get to stator. Notice the sproket shaft im guess wore and so was the inside of sprocket. Was wondering if the shaft


was removable and where to get a new one ?

Sorry dude but they're Toast.... Gonna need to do a total disassembly and replace the wheels... Might as well stroke it...

the sprocket shaft is around 90 bucks and the compensator sprocket can be had used around 100 bucks

no0 need at this point to replace the flywheels - but you will need to completely disassemble the engine

I thought the late Evo crankshaft assembleys were 3 piece.?

yea they are sorry to many old bikes evo is the new bike in the shop - but what year I could have a complete crank to swap out
