That sounds pretty bad. Good thing is an Evo is infinitely rebuildable. Air it might be an excuse to get something from S&S such as the popular 111

Every Yuasa battery I've gotten over the years came with the acid in the box.
You do have to let it outgas before you seal the battery but that don't take long.

I did a compression test on the EVO and it's not good. I got zero on the rear cylinder and only 90 psi on the front. Plus, the rear plug electrode was dented in like something smacked it. I'm planning on pulling the cylinders next. Bike is on the lift.

Ouch! Hopefully the trouble is just in the top-end.

What I'm hearing so far you've either bent a valve (not likely) or popped a hole in a piston or gouged the ring glands, damn bud I sorry.

Please provide pics during the teardown, if possible.

I pulled the pipes off, drained the oil, and removed the gas tank. Strained metai out of the oil drain plug and filter. Filter had a lot of metal in it. I also found oil and more metal at the air cleaner so I figure my injectors are full of it as well. I'm pulling the heads and cylinders this weekend.

Any idea of how screwed I am with all these metal particles in the engine? I figure the fuel pump is probably got them, all the oil lines, the strainer going to the top end, and the crankcase.

Get your head around a total rebuild, she's got that much material floating around in all those places it's coming completely down just to be cleaned out, figure all the bearings in the lower end need eye's on and some micrometer time, sorry man.

What Twizted said.

You're looking at a split the cases, crank apart rebuild. Anything that touches oil needs eyeballs on it.

If it comes to splitting the cases, I might be better off with a crate motor.
