Jetting Question after installing new straight pipes
I know I'm going to get a lot of criticism on this one. My buddy gave me a set of shorty pipes. I have new cones on top, and TTI's at the ends. I have an S&S Super E carb. She now idles really low. I don't think just ramping up the idle is the fix. I have jets for the carb. One size up, and one size down for both the main and intermediate. She is on stock jets now.
I took her out for a spin after putting the shorty's on. Low end and midrange are pretty damn good. Top end is ok, but not as snappy as she was.No backfire, and no popping. What is the proper direction to go on re jetting her?
I like the way they look, and how they sound. Your help is appreciated.

Read the thread. = 16 keystrokes
S&S Super E = 11 keystrokes
So if you would have just answered the mans question, you may have gotten some help from someone who knows his stuff. Instead, you chose to be a dick, (which actually took you longer to type) and probably lost that help. Well done.
Sometimes people miss details. It’s a fact of life on forums. Being civil will get you more help then being that other thing.

There's really no answering this question without knowing what the previous setup was and how well the bike was tuned before.
I'd forget about the question you asked (too lean or too rich) and just work through the S&S setup procedure: https://www.sscycle.com/tech-info/in...rb-quick-guide

I want to apologize to you for the short answer. I've been up since yesterday. I wasn't trying to be rude or an ***, but it sure came across that way. Again, I do apologize. I'm the one looking for help. Sorry bro.
