Default what is the oil capacity of a 91 fxdb evo dyna?
I just need to know how much oil goes in it. Can't find a chart anywhere.

According to my '94 owner's manual, it takes 3 quarts (with a filter change). Transmission approx. 24 oz. Primary chaincase 30-38 oz. Front forks, 9.2 oz. each leg.

I don't use the oil scavenger so I never get all the old oil out. I rarely get more than 2.5 quarts into many 1995.

I have a 92 Fxdc. Virtually the same bike, I also can only get 2.5 qts in it.

I have a 98 and only can get 2 3/4 quartz I like to run under full

Capacity may be different based on the "long" oil filter vs. the "super long" oil filter. My 1995 took 3 qts. Prefill the new oil filter too.

I hear ya for sure but I do check the oil after start-up and it is full. When I was a newb I was nervous that there wasn't enough oil.
Not any more!
