Day 2. At the hotel in Pierre, S.D. Pronounced "Pier", like the thing on the ocean that you fish off of, not "Pee-Air". Did 405 miles today. Bit warm towards the end, and I had to put my long sleeve white shirt on about an hour out. That sun on I90 will rip the hide right off you. Had some head winds today. Really sucks the gas down on my dresser. There's a lot of bikes out. Not like in '07 when it was solid bikes from the S.D. border on, but still, a lot of bikes out, especially for Saturday. The rally doesn't start until Monday. You guys touring around the Black Hills are touring around the Black Hills. If you were Oakies, we would call you "Sooners." Wait for the rally to start.
