Dumb question.

Got a guy over at my house doing some dirt moving work. He saw my bike, and turns out he's in the middle of his own bike build.

Also turns out he needs both sprockets and the drive belt, which I have left over. My sprockets look as good as new. The belt looks fine, and has 20k miles on it.

Does $100 for the works sound about right?

 

If everything is in excellent condition look up new price and cut it in half.
That's what I would do.

 

And... I think you'll find that a buck is Cheap....

 

If 100 is the number in your head that seems fair, sure. I'd try and go a tad higher for BOTH pullys and a belt but that's just me.

 

Well, we worked out a deal. Getting $100 in cash plus four hours of labor helping me build my retaining wall.

Yes, and it would be a decent deal for a guy doing a budget build, you & I both wouldn't go used so kick it down to him as a karma thing.
