Yes, but how was the clutch!

I really can't say enough good things about them. I've got Barnett's (clutch and throttle) on both my bikes. When I built my Sportster, I called them up and they put the actual cable assembly guy on the phone. We discussed what I was doing, gave him the measurements, and he was all set. After I got the cables, I discovered that I had screwed up measuring the clutch side. Way, way short. You might put some blame on Barnett since I suppose he should have known that the length of my throttle cable was so different from my clutch, but then I should have known that too.

Anyway, called them up, they said no problem, I sent back the dud, they sent a new one, and everything worked perfectly. Really couldn't have been a smoother experience.

They came across as good people running an honest, small business. Those are the kinds of folks I'm happy to support.

My Barnett clutch cable came in... it includes a small black plastic cylindrical plug about 1/2 long x 3/8” diameter.
Anyone know how this piece is used?

That is what is used to connect your cable to your clutch lever.

I replaced it this evening and rerouted the cable through the nacelle and eliminated the clamp.

I would guess Barnett’s claim of a 40% improved efficiency is true... much smoother operation.
