Ignition pickup sensor - 91 Flhtc

I have not heard of a sensor disrupting the way it runs bas on RPM's. Yeah once they get hot sure, they start having running issues ETC. even though the goo is melting maybe it is time for a new one but I think you have other problems if you're cruising fine at 26 2700 RPM and then you pick up your speed to 3000 RPM that's when you start losing it I would think maybe you have a float level or fuel delivery system issue as well....

I dont think it is the carb. Maybe the Dyna ignition, have to check that out this winther. I think it is some Electric. At steady 55-60 mph for a long time, approximately 40 miles it starts to cut. Suddenly the engine cut, and l see the rpm drops to 2000 from 26-2700, and in the same thousands of a second the engine comes back and run ok again for a few minutes, before it all starts over again with the cuts. Sometimes the cuts goes repetedly, That's when l give a full trottle and most of the symptom disappeards. But it will come back later. But if l turn of the engine in speed when this happend and turn it on again in speed, the problem is away for a long time before it comes back again.

Have you checked your battery cables at both ends?
That said you still need to replace the cam sensor/ignition pick up.

Yes they are checked out Sir. Also had of the outer fairing and cleaned all the contacts + grounds. The strange thing is that the problem seems to appear at approximately same distanse and same rpm.
