Motion pro disconnect for crossover tube size

I need to order one for my softail and I forgot what size I got last time. Do I need the 5/16 or the 1/4?

The size you want is 1/4" but I wouldn't get the plastic one I'd get one of these

Yep, the metal one is the way to go.

Yup, get a metal one. I had that exact item and it eventually broke.

How did you route the hose???
I didn't think there was enough room between the ports on the tank to install a quick disconnect.

Just in the middle. It's the same size crossover as on my evo

I used one of those cheap plastic ones for a while - a real pain to use. I installed it with extra hose to create an 'S' shape each side, to help with the lack of space and improve getting at it to disconnect
