Default It's Home Finally - 1995 FLHR

Afternoon

So you may remember I was looking for an EVO Road King and found a one owner 6k miles bike which had been stored for over 12 years ...

Got it collected and delivered to the garage to have it recommisioned .. I'll be learning to do my own work hopefully but wanted a good base point of it running and checked over.

Apart from the usual oils / filter and bearings check / grease it need tyres / front brake disks and caliper/ resevoir seal kits.

Two of us spent six hours cleaning and I still havn't tackled the wheels .. managed to remove some bling and a big thanks to @marktruckee for the original points cover and backing plate

Managed a couple of shortish rides and I LOVE IT ... feels different from the Springer Classic I had which was FI ...

I've a replacement seat coming and no doubt will have lots of questions as I get to know the bike - but a thanks to members on here for the help so far

Simon

Looks fabulous! I'll always have a soft spot for those mid-90's colors.

Yep - I was searching based on condition but was over the moon when this came along as the colour makes it IMO
