Nice job.... With that setup you can probably check your rear wheel offset as well... I was just looking in the manual for my 98 and my front wheel should be offset to the right .359" from the rear .. I must say I really like your editing of the tutorial videos you make... Top notch... I'm lost when it comes to that... I'm assuming you have special software for that... Again nice job....

I hired some guys a few years ago to make some vids for my company. Stupid expensive, and I didn't like them anyway. Figured out we already had all the software, since we need the full Adobe suite for other stuff.

Spent a couple days watching YouTube vids teaching myself Premiere and After Effects. Pretty simple, really.

Figured that out the hard way when I realized the rear jug was 100 degrees hotter than the front.

Got that corrected, now I need to let it cool down before the next run.

Any opinions on the other switches?

He had switch 1 set on, which the instructions say "Uses voes wire to retard timing for nitrous or turbo equipped bikes..." Doesn't seem like what I want. Off says "Most bikes should be set to this mode."

Switches 2 and 3 are set to select curve 2.

Switches 4 and 5 are set to put the rev limit at 7k. Seems high.

Switch 6 was set to single fire. That one's obviously getting changed.

Sounds great! I too would set the rev limit at 6500. Mine is set around 6200. It's scary as all get out when it hits the limit....

nice video, just wanted to add that it's important to loosen all three front mount bolts before adjusting the front link, don't want to have the mount bound sideways.

Colder than hell here today. My father in law called and asked me to go shovel out the drive at his shed. He's like 900 years old and can't do much any more. Big thing is there's a gate that was drifted shut so the propane guy couldn't get in.

Anyway, got that all done and since I was already frozen, the garage didn't seem so cold. Decided to get her put back together.

Mostly done. I left off the heat shields to make retightening the exhaust nuts easier, and I'm waiting for now before riveting on the timing cover. Stuff like that.

Learned a cool thing. Turns out these have a built in warning system if you add fluid to the primary without putting the plug in first. Nice.

Last thing is to get the bags pulled back apart and over to my buddy for paint. And then wait for some weather.
