I dont know what is best, I did mine with the genuine HD stuff Because I was told the rubber stuff does, in fact, nullify the vibrations.
IDK.

With the 3rd link, it tracks straight through hard turns and tar snakes have no effect whatsoever.
That all said i think there TBO is about 5 years and redo time again.
Every time I pull an alignment on someone's bike that the bushings are over 5 yr old they are just junk.

Cool

The problem with the original stock cleve blocks is that they are anti-vibration devices, being put to an inappropriate use IMHO. While they do provide alignment, offsetting any inaccuracies in the swingarm pockets, they do not provide good lateral stability while on the move.

Seems a good opportunity to introduce my 'wobble' thread, to those of you who haven't read it. It's especially relevant to our Evos, with their original incarnation of the H-D rubber-mount system.

I think True track is what I use, But they all do the same thing in keeping the rear wheel going the in the same plane and direction
It made a GREAT big difference in mine!

Same here - stabilizer kit plus s/a bushings. Utterly brilliant! When I had my S&S 107" installed my indy reckoned my bike was the best handling touring Harley he had ever ridden, although that was back in 2008.

I have said this elsewhere so forgive the redundancy-
My 1994 RK tracks better than my 2013 Honda Gold wing F6B ! (which is the striped dwn Sport model of the GW)

The RK is rock steady, two up, loaded HVY.
I do play Ricky racer in the turns and it never changes.
the F6B has a twitch to it.-I am not impressed. I believe it is from the single leg swing arm

Just poor design - nothing to do with having a single-sided swingarm - those darned things have raced the IoM TT Races at 200mph!

I do appreciate their technology, that is why I bought it .
When all else fails it wont. LOL

I treat it like the Honda car- get in it and drive (ride).
The poor thing gets almost no attn from me.

Whereas the HD is always needing something.
