I don't know what CR is. It's the 85ci kit from Axtell with flat top pistons.

That is what I thought.
I forget his name ...Jerry?
Anyway ask him how much material to take off your heads
If you can get up to 10.5 you can run a decent cam and it will really pull .

Overdrive transmission wastes horsepower. Lower rpms at highway speed can be obtained in the final drive.

K, so your only 3.6 cubes bigger than stock, that doesn't mean a lot more compression. With the flat tops in it, it all depends on the size of your combustion chambers.. Once you know that you can calculate what your compression will be..... On the zipper 80/80 setup did they say what the combustion chamber size was going to be? With a 36*ivc you really don't want to go over 9.6: static. Also if you do bump up the comp yeah you better take a good look at that 130K bottom end... An 80/80 set up is pretty much a 35% increase in power...

Thanks for comments. I don't think I want to go into too high a compression with higher fuel costs etc. Really want to freshen up the top end with a little more Hp.

I've never used premium. Bike held up well all these years. Really, maintenance fluid, batteries, tires and preventative lifters changed. a couple stators. a happy tired evo lol
