i don't know about a 92 manual but the wiring diagram was included with the HD factory manual for my 85. it just might be included with the 92 manual.....but then again it might not be. somebody here should know if it is or isn't.

Here's a couple that are on ebay:

Reprinted in a 3 ring binder:

Brand new in wrap:

You could always check Craigslist too, you never know.

Thanks for all the replies. When you build a simplified harness are you talking about doing it from a kit? I haven't taken the fairing off yet to inspect the wiring in there. hopefully its in better shape then some of the other wiring. I was thinking it maybe a ground wire causing all the lights to not work.

No kit
I will see if I can locate a simple diagram.
There is no need for most the BS installed on a factory line.

Us old guys could wire up a bike with about 6 wires,-but to explain it is difficult to someone that has no experience.
There is no need for endless relays and buss plugs

If the dealer can get a service manual for $60 I'll go that route. I'll give them a call tomorrow.
I don't know why it doesn't show wiring diagrams. Try this: Enter "1991 Wiring" in the search box on the HD Service Info Portal. Yea I know you have a 1992, but the search results should list "Wiring Diagrams & Electrical Troubleshooting Guide - 1991 & 1992 All Models".
Or this link might work

MoCo jacked the prices up on manuals over a year ago they start at $120 now.

Thank you! That's exactly what I needed.
I went ahead and ordered a service manual but they said it would be 1-2 weeks before it arrives and I go back to work the 15th so after that I may not have time to work on it until the end of may.
