I haven’t done much riding around Tucson, but I have been through there a couple of times. I’d suggest heading out of Tucson on Hwy 10 to Benson and take the 80 south to Tombstone, you could check out Tombstone or continue south to Old town of Bisbee. Coming into Bisbee on the 80 the old town will be on your left. It’s worth stopping and seeing the town, check out the Copper Queen Hotel. If you continue east on the 80 just past the old Bisbee you will see the abandoned Copper Queen Mine, it’s a pretty big hole in the ground that you can’t miss. Just past the copper mine on your right is an abandoned gas station, turn right (Erie St.) and it will take you into an old abandoned town of Lowell that’s worth stopping and seeing, you will feel like you stepped back to the 1940-50’s. Check out the old cars on the street and the Harley and Indian Motorcycle shops. From there I would take the 92 through South Bisbee and head west to Whetstone. From Whetstone you can continue north to Hwy 10 then west to Tucson, or if you want more riding you can head west out of Whetstone on the 82 to the border town of Nogales AZ. From Nogales you can take Hwy 19 north to Tucson. That’s a general route to take, and you will hit some interstate highways. You can also look up this route on Google Maps and take any number of smaller roads if you want a more leisurely route. Have fun.
