So it doesn’t need to somehow get into the hypercharger? Would something like this work?

No. Venting the crankcase gasses into the intake is an emissions thing. Your motor will run fine with the crankcase vented to atmosphere.
There will be some oily mist coming out of the breather hose. The catch can is intended to contain that oil as it condenses out.
I don't run one, and just figure on de-gunking the underside of the bike once a year or so....which it will need anyway. If you run one, figure on cleaning it out once a year or so.
Bottom line for me is those cans are a needless clutter and an extra periodic chore. Some.guys like them, though. Your call.

A lot of us enjoy real hands-on work.
Next-let your bottom breather be a bottom breather. It works best that way as stated.

I ask because my top breather does exactly that, just with a longer hose. Since I've got umbrella valves it's more of a one-way flow type system than the bottom breather so even less need for a filter, unless I'm missing something.

Not implying anything. One can do what ever he or she wants... I used to run a breather filter at the end of my top breather but don't any more and on my Shovel (bottom breather) I have a short piece of 3/8" fuel line that goes straight down below the frame a little. No issues with either.. I guess I say hang down because isn't the nipple that comes off a bottom breather a 90* nipple?
