Stock rear size is 16" with a 3" wide rim. I'm not sure about 16.5" being a standard rim size though. One of the wonderful things about the World going metric is that some things have not actually changed - such as rim diameters! Cameras still use a 1/4" BSW tripod screw - being from the British Standard Whitworth thread series.

16" and 19" are the stock sizes for the FXR. So rake won't be changed from stock..

Wink

We can see in the current Touring range, in particular, that some models come as stock with short shocks, while others have longer shocks about 1/2" taller. I don't believe these have any adverse affect on handling, even though there will be a small change in fork rake. Owners have been swapping shocks around for many years with even greater differences in overall length, with little adverse affect.

I have a Conely's TSport fairing that I want to install on my 1999 FXR3. Will the memphis shades 39mm mounting hardware work? Or do I need to get something else? I already have the mounting hardware, so I'd like to use it if i can..Or do I need different mounting hardware to mount the fairing to my FXR?

Thanks

Those are called T bars BTW.
Something from Dakota Digital springs to mind.

I got the MX T bars.. I did buy some Dakota Digital guages..but I think want to use them in the 94 build..I have a 99 FXR3 that I want to get the gauges that clip to bars. The bars I have are the 14" MX split T bars from FXR Division..Nice bars
