You know, I just don't remember... it was about 17 years ago and I'm not getting any younger, I think I picked it up off eBay.

Finished the exhaust today....man is it bent up, should work for awhile I just hope it doesn't leak to bad and is usable for now. Changed the plugs too, the ones that were in there say that it runs pretty dang good by the read. That's all for today....it got HOT, and I'm out of parts till tomorrow.

Found a battery that's high powered, 315 cca's, and small enough to fit under the seat without major surgery. Should work better than the lower powered Sporty battery at 220 cca that I used in the 89...you had 2 chances at a fire with that one, then it just ran out of juice. Expensive though...lithium and $230.00....ouch

Most all parts came in today, still waiting on 3 parts more before the test fire. I have front brakes now, though and the bars that the guy gave me are completely wrong, nothing really fits right right. They're touring cause the fit the nacelle, but only have a 6" rise, and by the amount of cable left over I can go 10" rise without issues....and that would be WAY MORE comfortable, but I should be able to use them till I find a "deal" on one. Gave up when it hit 94* and came inside till the sun goes down.

Got all the parts in finally, also found a gauge pod for cheap...it's in bad shape and somehow paint got on the gauges, I think it was put together from a few different bike, but either way it will work for now and was "easy". I'm down to a few things left to cross off the build list, like an oil filter and fluid changing for all 3 holes, and put some fuel in her for the test start. Should get to that tomorrow if it's not to windy....Geeze...its been windy here...and HOT! My original design for the retrofit of a RK windshield bombed, it's in redesign as I speak...LOL

Finally got to do some work on the bike today. Did the oil and filter change and other than an oil dipstick and a splash of fuel....I think she's ready to test fire!

Nice patience and persistence!
Been following, I'm sure it'll be a breeze once she's idling steady.

It isn't one I'd use but it's actually not too bad considering.
