THC, maybe Omaha doesn’t want to part out his work of art. And I can’t blame him for that. But he might be willing to give you the whole bike.
That is the logic behind most artists.

I get no respect!!!

Tell you what I'll sweeten the deal and include a bag of peanut brittle!!!!!
That way you get a carb you like and bad teeth!!!!
It's a twofer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You trying to con me out of my carby and you want respect?!?!?

Why you! I should make you do a spin around the parking lot on Traildog's new bike for that!!!

Gaskets just showed up. Should be to the bottom of things tonight. I am a little weirded out by the way I'm getting absolutely nothing on the comp test on the rear cylinder. Not even the faintest wiggle on the dial. Was talking to Mark (indy next door) about that when I picked up the gaskets. I said something like "Sounds bad, doesn't it?" to which he replied "Sounds pretty good on this side of the counter".

Heh.

You don’t need Mark. You have THC to help get her back up and running. Even if the carb’s missing LOL

On a serious note don't forget to get new wrist pin clips and to leave the pistons in the cylinders so that you don't have to rehone the cylinders.

As to coning you out of your carb aren't you one of the people who like CV carbs????

That's the beauty of it, right there. I'm not one of those carby one trick pony types!!!

The S&S is the perfect carb for this bike, and the CV is the perfect carb for the bagger.
