Yes. The most expensive thing is going to be the paint. Fortunately the painter, Steve Slater, is local. He will put it back like it was. But. With smooth fender. No bumper, marker light, spears.

True that, sir. Could have been my 2007 Ultra. Took out fender, fairing, left saddlebag, whatever? Or. My 1998 Valkyrie. Good luck finding replacement parts for it. As hard as it is to say. The RK might have been the best bike for the situation. It is like a frigin tank.

A Good Samaritan stopped and he helped me get her up. He had a piece of rebar in the bed of his pickup. We pried fender off front tire and I rode her home. Adrenaline was running high.

Glad you're OK. I have to drive 3-4 miles through a wildlife area and regional park to get home. From dusk on, I go 35-40, I hate driving the bike through there

Rizzo. Thanks. Still getting over the effects. Road rash pretty much cleared up. Thanks to Neosporin. Back and upper left torso still giving me pain.

Used to own a 64 flh. Was all original other than seat and charging. Switched it to 12v. Loved that bike but family got in the way. I sold it. Would really like to find an all original again with the hard bags and all. That bike ran so smooth and rode so nice. Better by far than the 90 softail I owned also at the time.

I would give the time honored warning. Be safe. Be careful. In a scenario such as this. It don't matter. It just happens. I am ok. Thanks to my Guardian Angel. Could have been much worse.
Glad you survived. Lost a friend to a deer 2 years ago. Hang in there.
