Don’t want to beat a dead horse but I have a couple of questions. Guy wasn’t sure if it has synthetic oil or not in the engine. Local Indy says 20w50 conventional unless it has synthetic in it. 10w40 conventional in primary and 75w90 synthetic in tranny. Sound right? Not sure what oil to use since not sure what’s in it.
which manual to order - Clymer or Haynes?
where do you all buy most parts - J&P Cycles?
Gonna figure out that cam bearing and lifters myself. It’s time to do this.

20w-50 motor
ATF type F Primay
75-90 or 75-140 hypoid gear oil Belray or Amsoil by preference.
Harley OEM Service manual...definitely not Clymer or Haynes (they are ok as a secondary reference but not as a primary source of information)
As to where I buy my parts it depends on what I'm looking for.
Dealership. Drag Specialties. Mid-USA or any other catalog that has the part you're looking for.
