What would you do?
Gettin ready to pull the swingarm off Alma and fix the frame. Based on the scary handling, I'm assuming that everything that has to do with the swingarm mounting system is trashed. That being said I'm still treating her as a "budget build" and will be reusing the factory swingarm cause it's in decent shape and isn't cracked anywhere. I will strengthen the area's that are crack prone and replace the factory lollipops with aftermarket ones. The options are using new cleve blocks, using the Sta-Bo I Delrin bushing kit, or the V-Twin 44-0671 Nylatron bushing kit, and use new pillow blocks. I believe both the Sta-Bo and V-Twin kits will stiffen the deflection of the swingarm vs the cleve blocks, thus making her handle a little better over factory setup. I'm just looking to get her into "rider" status till we move and I can rebuild her the way I want to. Also from what I can find on the internet all 3 options seem to last about the same amount of miles before needing to be replaced again.
So guys.................what would you do?
