Default Slowly warming up to trading

And I do mean slowly. I LOVE my '94 Fatboy. I've made it my own with my preferred saddlebags, LED lights, seats, etc.... But at the same time, I'm starting to like the later Twin Cams, specifically those with the 103 cubic inch engines.

What appeals to me about them is:

103 cubic inches with more power
6-speed gearbox
Fat rear tire
Chromed front wheel

What doesn't is:

Fuel injection
The whole cam tensioner issue
More complexity

Have any of you ever faced a dilemma like this, where you love your bike but you're tempted by a newer model? The reason I asked this in the Evo section is because I know you guys are fond of the Evo, like myself.

Life is short. TRADE. Lots of Evos out there, if you want to trade back. All engine types have their good and bad. I should take my own advice, but I've got too much emotional investment in my Evo. Haha.

Cam tensioner are not an issue on 07 and up bikes, Compensators are the new issue. Me I'm thinking about going in the opposite direction and letting the RK go and picking up a EVO, just so much more flexibility you have, I really enjoy the EVO section, reading all the dedication and knowledge shared.

That's actually more tempting than I was going to admit.....

Seriously. My full coverage insurance on the 1994 is only about $200.00-ish. So yeah, that might be an option.

Can you elaborate? I don't think I've heard this.

I've heard certain years have that problem also being ball burners.
