You won't be sorry. Great puller, noticeably much more power and nice lope at idle.

Good choice.

I literally just did a full topend on my 84 fxst. heres what I have , finished today. ev-27, ported and polished heads, and 9.75-1 .040 over Kieth blacks.. I havent had a chance to get the timing and carb dialed in ( S&S super e) but I took her for a small shakedown romp this afternoon..I noticed Im feeling very flat on the bottom end, once I hit about 2000-2300 rpm its pulling alot harder..I def have to set the timing tomorrow...Im 300 pounds, and though my bike has no accessories, Im figuring about 700 pounds for the bike...I also have a pipes issue , 2" drags (bad choice over 10 years ago, with torque cones...I wish someone made a good 2 into 1 for a kick and electric evo..I think Im at the max for the cam too..once shes broken in ,Ill get her up on the dyno for some serious tuning and get some numbers...

Any Evo i've owned has ended up with an EV46 in it .
I like how it's just plug and play too.

Good afternoon to all members, I have a fatboy 98, evo engine, without any modification to the engine, I'm curious to install a cam, I just want to develop some more power, what would be recommended? Greetings from México

I’m no expert.
However... if Your motor have no changes done to it what so ever, You could change your Air cleaner for something less restrictive, a good set of slip-on mufflers, some fiddling with the carb and see if that is enough for you.

EV-46 ftw. I put one in a few years ago and I really like it. Of Course I did a whole lot of Mods to the bike. However it really moves. Never any issues with the install and It really loves the higher RPM range as well. So I re geared it and slapped a 6 speed in it and whole lot more.
