RE: SE slip on torque muffler 80061-00
G'day,
I got 'em. They are on my 06 dyna. They are great, they are actually "thinner" than the stock muffs, so don't scrape in the corners. The sound is perfect cause they have 2 baffle plates inside with holes about 1 and a half inchs through the middle. so they are straight through but are about two thirds as loud as the SE11 slash cuts, which i think is just right. Some say that because they are slightly restrictive the performance is down. but that would only be true at max rpm's. Hence the name "torque mufflers". they were banned in Australia in mid 07, so I guess they are rare in the US as well. bloody EPA. I didn't know they fitted an EVO? Anyways, with the A/C and T-max these are the best performing slip-on (bottom and mid rpm's) mufflers I have ever ridden with. I can't believe they were not more popular, i guess people aways want the biggest / loudest and think that it is the best....they would be wrong.
