Mine never seem to last long enough to worry about lubing.&nbsp\\; I'm on about my 6th now, I think.&nbsp\\; My year has the sender on the right and the cable crosses over.&nbsp\\; The next year they went to the sender on the left and they last better.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
I'm going with Dry Slide on this one.&nbsp\\; Some people say only use graphite.

On the speedo I use a heavy general puprose grease, like the grease used in the fork stem...just pull the speedo a little and unscrew cable, pull the center of the cable out and lube it, put it back in 'til it seats and screw the other end back into the speedo....

WD40 with the little tube.&nbsp\\; Wouldn't want the dirt that would stick to heavy grease.

Disassemble and clean the inside of the pinion regularly (every other wheel bearing service or every tire change) They get full of grit and the grease gets hard - makes a lot of weird noise when they do.
&nbsp\\;
GAA grease works well for all that..........
