Default lowered front end

just wondered whats involved in lowering the front end of a wide glide. i have a 1990 fxstc and the rear fender has that gap above the rear tire. i know if i lower the rear i should lower the front. that way the bike will be level, well some what level.

Or you can put in shorter Progressive fork springs and improve the ride and handling as well as the looks. Be careful how much you lower, though. You could end up scraping in corners a lot more than you want to.
