J&P cycles has a couple of different types in their 2009 book. On page 546 they have steel chrome ones that you could sand blast and paint p/n 7000085, and page 549 they have a set that's an ABS plastic triangle cover p/n 701-215. May not be exactly what you want but you may be able to make it work. Good luck on your project.

Hey Sharon...you're replying to an old post. That guy has since been booted off the forum. (notice his status is "banned" camp? Kudos to the mods for cleverness )

But you CAN find what your looking for in the J & P Cycles catalog.

those had to cost you a pretty penny..I've been looking for a set, and the cheapest Ive seen was about $600 for the set.

No, not bad from what I remember. I searched and searched back when I started this thread in 08, found a 2 year old post on Craig's list and the guy still had them. He couldn't believe I found the post.
