To change the subject slightly,
am I crazy? ...(wait for the question, please!)
Temperatures around here have dropped about 10*, and moist air is here.
The EVO 'seems' to have a noticable amount of more oomph, especially hitting the rev range, 3000+.
Am I imagining things or have others experienced this?

Lovely warm sunny day here, for a ride out!
My shovel was like that. When the weather was wet and cold and the grip uncertain it was hanging on the throttle like it was supercharged, busting to go! Haven't noticed it to the same extent on my Evo.

I just want to say that since selling my Shovel and buying this Evo, all the time I used to spend wrenching on the Shovel is far better spent modifying this Evo. Bolting shiney new chrome parts on a bike is alot more fun (and satisfying) that replacing bearing seals and miscellaneous part that didn't make the return trip.
