ya. The builder of my EVO did a very good job of making things work together. the thing is fast and pulls hard 2-up and loaded, harder riding solo.
But it's winter, and my mind plays the old 'what else can I change' trick.
New bars and seat and bags are done.
Finished tuning up the car and the truck.
Wonder if they make a Wii game for Harley tinkerers? Virtual mods.

Sounds like you have all the performance you need... why change anything?
Post some pics of the new stuff!

Meanwhile I'll continue on my electrical course, math refresher. Vectors, trig, sine waves. THAT'S why my mind keeps wandering to cams and such.
Went for a ride today after the sun came out. Starting to have some strength.
Opened her up a bit, after riding for a while, of course. All that gum flapping about cams.... never mind. I forgot.

Your continuing education sounds a bit intense, bro. I work for an enterprise software company, but I haven't used any trig since my college courses... of course, if I were designing motorcycles...

Oh! We're supposed to ride these things? Not just fiddle with their cams and stuff in the garage? What a concept... I'll have to try that later today. Supposed to be in the lower 60s (F) again... Too damn nice to not ride!

While it's so quiet in here, I thought I'd show off my new Ugly Goggles from Cap'n Itch... I bought all three colors - the yellow-green ones here, very dark ones, and clear ones for night riding. They fit over my glasses, which is nice because I don't always feel like putting my contacts in to ride. That's my Macbook reflecting in them. LOL!

Man those yellow-green ones look like a dragon fly. Cool though. I wear progressive lens glasses and really do not need them to drive or ride. I just can't see up close. Can't read my GPS when it is on the bike. I have been thinking about doing something like that.

I have worn contacts since the 6th grade, but when I turned forty or so, I started needing reading glasses with them. That got old quickly because I would forget the reading glasses all the time, and not be able to read a friggin' restaurant menu! So, about 6 years ago I switched to progressive-lens eyeglasses. When I look forward they are my distance prescription, and as I look further and further down, they become my reading prescription. I can see everything clearly now, at any distance. No lines, either. I love them, but I don't want to ride with just them over my eyes.
Enter The Ugly Goggles! They fit over my glasses just fine - no pressure or anything. They are just so outrageous looking I can't wait to wear them on my next ride! They are only $20 a set. They are actually made by a company called ArcOne, and they are labelled as "welding and safety glasses". I got them from Captain Itch, whose post i have seen here on the forum. Good folks... they arrived in only two days!
The only downside is that my wife thinks I look like the William H. Macy character in Wild Hogs - you know... the dorky one?

I know! Weird, huh?
Can't give a performance review yet... maybe in the next few days! Maybe tomorrow if the damn weather cooperates. From now on I'm not even going to look at the forecast anymore... just gonna poke my head out the door and see for myself!
