Opinions on brands/types of hydraulic lifters and pushrods?
OK, here goes my first new thread. I didn't want to hijack anyone else's thread for this, so I thought I'd start a new one. I apologize if this info has been asked for before.
I would like to hear you guys' opinions and experiences about the different brands of hydraulic lifters (H-D "B", JIMS, CompCam, Revtech, and others) and the different brands/types of pushrods (H-D EZ Install SE, RevTech, CompCam, aluminum or chromoly, etc.)
I am asking this because all of the discussion about the troublesome INA cam bearing in other threads has gotten me concerned, and I'm going to use it as an excuse to replace the bearing (and install an EV-27 cam in the process...) sooner rather than later. I think (hope?) that I can sell that story to my wife! My bike has about 45K miles on it, and we bought it at 29K miles. I don't know how it was ridden before I got it - but since it's a Police bike, it could have had a lot of parade/escort duty, or been out chasing down speeders.
I figure while I'm in there installing the new cam and bearing, I'll replace the lifters a little early, cut out the stock pushrods, and install new adjustable ones so I don't have to get into the rocker boxes.
I don't know if the brand of lifters or pushrods really matters all that much. I've done a lot of reading and looked around on the net - and there seems to be a fairly wide array of prices for these same basic parts from the different manufacturers - who all (of course!) have their own spin on things and why theirs is the best, etc. I just want to put quality parts in there when I do the cam work, so I don't have to get in there again for a long time.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

ok, so your gonna get an sh*t ton of different answers. I personally use either stock harley b lifters which run 190 bux a set or i like the vthunder lifters, which has a nicer roller and much larger axle than the stock harley lifters for 159.00 off their website, As far as pushrods, I also reccomend vthunder pushrods from jireh (64.00 bux), chromoly with a the correct size tube that will not rub the push rod cover...alot of these pushrods are too large in diameter and they rub either the tube or the head. seen it recently with a set of screaming eagle pushrods.
