Rear intake pushrod
Hi Guys
Did a cam bearing swap put in the torrington. I decided to open rockers and use stock pushrods stock lifters. The front went good pushrods spin freely on top dead centre. the rear on top dead centre the exhaust spins freely the intake is a little tight. when you loosen lower rocker bolts just a little it spins freely. What to do? I noticed this on tear down but didn't worry thought the lifter didn,t bleed down.
Thanks

I'm not a HD valvetrain genius by any means (mine still ticks).. But, the lifters have roughly .200" travel.. They should idealy run in the middle (.100").. So, they can make up for 1/16" variation if they had to.. Now, thats also assuming that they are in the right location and you didnt effect another in the oposite way.. Sounds like you didnt give it enough time to bleed down. I wouldnt worry about it..
