Default Bent evo exhaust header flange

Disconnected exhaust/header Flange at Head Port and found it was "buckled/bent".
Is it supposed to be like this or should it be flat? Any replies much appreciated.
Doesnt appear to be any info in HD Manual.

Looks pretty straight to me unless I'm missing something. Ok, I think I see that one side of the flange is bent a little. Doesn't look bad enough to cause it not to seal. Distortion could be caused by overtightening the flange bolts. Put it on flat metal surface and pound it straight or just replace it if it seems too bent?? As long as it still seals should be ok.

+1 looks like someone overtightened it. You could also heat it up and pound it flat or use slight pressure in a vise or a press.

Had mine off this year, they are perfectly flat, both sides and 16 years old. They can't be alot of $$ if it bothers you or they leak.

Must have taken a good bit of effort to bend that. Mine are heat treated (I know because I had to enlarge the center holes to fit my Kerker pipes), and harder than the hubs of Hades.

Looks like the "c clip" may not have been located correctly, which is a frequent cause of that type of bending.

Im goin with that IronG. The "c clip" was a bit buckled when I removed it.
Will probably straighten out on a Press as suggested.
Thanks again to all who responded. What a great Forum!
