Setting timing
#11
That is a pretty cool way to time your scoot. The one thing I do not understand is why after timing your bike would you ever have to do it again unless you remove the ign. module or any part that is timing sensitive. Do you check the timing on your car that has electronic ignition every 5,000 miles. I don't. Even on my old 84 Iron Head Sportster, that I changed over to points, did not change in 20,000 miles. There is nothing that I can see that would change the timing, except for a big change in the module which would probably render it not working anyway. I have checked my bikes several times over the years, and if they were on time to begin with, I have never had them change. Somebody splain it to me. I am a little, (well, my wife says alot sometimes) dense.
