Default Sifton Cam?

I started my EV27 install last night. After pulling the stock cam out, I noticed it wasn't stock. It had Sifton stamped on the gear and 143 stamped on the rear intake lobe. Looking at the 2 cams, the EV27 is definately more aggressive looking, but just wondering how they compare. I can't really find much info. Any guesses?

Ev27

The numbers are close, the Sifton would be an improvement in any bike over the stock cam. The second number is intake closing and the Sifton is still a compression builder but the wildcard is the EV27's squared off lobes and has a slight edge. The EV27 design is the same as the Woods and works but attention is needed to pinion gear clearance/push rod adjustments when installing the aggressive design EV27 or clackity-clack.
