Default Where does the jiffy stand spring connect on my '94?

While loading my '94 Electra Glide Classic on my trailer I let it bottom out at the trailer entrance which knocked the spring off.

Apparently it also broke something else off the frame. The shop told me that the place where the spring connects to the frame is not there.

Could someone please snap a photo or tell me where the stud/hole or whatever is located on this bike to re-attach the spring on the side opposite the stand.

On my 1988 EG there is a lug with a small hole, welded to the bottom frame tube.

You can weld it on, which is not a good idea, it might weaken the frame tube, and it will rust pretty quick unless You`ll get it powder coated. There are aftermarket jiffy stands with "integrated" spring hooks.

I did a search and found a stand from Demon Cycle that has an integrated spring for Big Twins but I don't think this will work for the EG.

Do you know anywhere online that you can point me to that has the replacement kickstand you are referring to?

Here is a picture of how mine is fastened on my 95 Classic.I don't know if yours is the same but it looks like it wouldn't be hard to fabricate a strip of metal with 2 holes, one to fasten to the bolt and the other end bent to the right place for the spring.

It looks this same in my EG.

Complete kickstand bracket with itegrated spring hook, for FLT models. Not sure if it`s this same as FLH.
http://www.debrix.com/Kickstand-Moun...27-0526-vt.htm

Also search this site for "angle plate " .

There are custom "kickstand spring brackets/plates" for different models, don`t know if they fit to FLH. Think it should fit with minor modifications.

Hope this helps.
