Default S&S carb

Can I mount a S&S super E carb on a stock 1995 FLSTC and keep the air cleaner, the manifold and the cables?

The carb won't bolt on the manifold, the air cleaner won't bolt on the carb, and the cables are different. Other than that it's easy!!!!! Hope this helps.

You could do a Mikuni EZ kit for around $400
OR...you could rebuild and rejet your CV for around $40 and get good performance and better gas mileage. Your call.

Rejet the cv. The cv carb is one thing harley got perfect in my humble opinion. It is more capable then it appears. A yost jet kit or 1 of the many other jet kits out there will increase the cv carbs performance exponentially

Edelbrock uses the slip on type like the CV. I have a QwikSilver 2 that needs a rebuild if interested make an offer. All reasonable ones taken, unreasonable ones considered .

I'm going the rebuild route. Been doing lots of reading on the easy mods to make these things a great carb. Tore mine down last night and they are a very simple carb. Save yourself some cash and get a rebuild kit and a few new internals and you're set. Check out www.cv-performance.com
