That's when I looked at the date

First welcome to the Forum.

Second get S&S ez-install pushrods and you will find they are much stronger than the others.

Third it is always best to start a new thread for a new conversation.

You need to put the front cyl at top dead center on the compression stroke and check to see if both lifters are down all the way then take all the slack out of each pushrod one at a time then slowly tighten them until you have no up and down movement ( just making contact at each end) then tighten them per the number of flats the rods call for per the manufacturer and then lock them in then wait up to 20 min and see if you can spin each one relatively easy and if so move to the rear and again set it at top dead center and the rear has its own timing mark so make sure you have the correct one for each! Pull the plugs before hand and when you're done turn the bike over by turning the back rim with the plugs out and listen for any off noises before you fire it up! Good luck!
