Default Stage 1 Download Enough??

I have a 98 Ultra, with a stage 1 breather, bub s/o exhaust and Andrews EV 23 cams. I have the SE stage 1 ECM download. Will the dowload provide enough fuel for the cams as well, without running too lean?

I installed a PC III USB before I found out that all of the PC III maps were for bikes with the SE Stage 1 download. Finally found a download and installed it....and would like to yank the PC III, if I don't need it. Yes the bike runs good, but the fuel economy took a dive after installing the PC. Thanks for any advice.

Keep the PC3 on it and save up $300 for a dyno tune, if you heat up a cylinder, it will cost twice that on a gamble with the Stage 1, it is only calibrated for an air cleaner/filter and HD's run lean from the factory anyway. The PC3 is just running rich in the cruise range and easily fixed and overall the bike will run better with a know what you have tune.

AGREE^^^^^^^^

Keep the PC3!! Also you can get the auto tune, which will replace your stock o2 senors, and will tune the bike to 99.9% If your a d.i.y kinda guy P.C works wonders!

Good luck

I will keep running the PC3 and save for the Dyno. My ultra didn't come with O2 sensors and don't know of any that did in 1998. Thanks for the advice
