Default EVO is EVO is EVO

As long as its a Big Twin EVO, stuff like rocker boxes all interchange right? Like FX's, Dyna's and FL's share the same topend parts?

There are differences in years however. Rocker boxes 92 and later had "toothed" edges to better prevent slippage, older models did not. Can't mix and match older and newer.

I've seen evo Sportster rocker boxes used on big twins too.

Some parts are on the way, and pics will be posted when the "transformation" is complete.

Rocker Boxes are NOT the same

92 and earlier do not breath through heads, so if you put these boxes on a newer bike, the pressure will build up in the crank case/oil pan, and with nowhere else to go, the pressue will send the oil cap out into space.

Don't ask me how I found this out...

Mines a bottom breather, so I dont think it matters what I put on the top. Dont they breath thruogh the head? Why would the spacer/valve cover make a difference?

Since you have a bottom breather, it will not matter.

A top breather rocker box spacer needs an umbrella valve to work properly, but immaterial in your case.
