Hey there, I thought I might try this forum

Can someone do me a favor and let me know the wiring colors to pin #'s for the Crane H-4E ignition module (8-3101, the one that has the 8-pin deutsch connector) - a picture would be great!!

I scored a used 7-pin module on ebay (8-3100), which I will convert to fit my 1998 Fat Boy but I need to know which color wires go to which pins on the Deutsch connector. I can get an adapter, but they work out too expensive by the time I get it to NZ

hrm. wiring harness looks identical to the Dyna2000p (minus I think dyna uses blue for the rear-cyl coil *if running as a single fire ignition*)

if ya need, I have a 98 RKC (was your EFI? or always carb?)...that I made my own ignition interconnect harness for (got the pinouts listed with descriptions on what each wire does)

My understanding is that the 7-pin & 8-pin Hi-4e's are identical except for the plugs. So I'm going to cut the plug off my 7-pin module and connect an 8-pin deutsch connector - should be easy!!

But I need to know what color wire goes to what number pin. Basically all I need is a picture of an existing module showing the wires going to the deutsch connector.

Would your Dyna Ignition diagram be the same for the Crane Cams 4I-4E module?
I am looking for the function of each wire that goes into the 7 pin plug as I want to wire it directly without any plugs.
The 7 wires are:
-Red
-Purple
-Blue
-Black
-Green with white
-Red with white
-Black with white
