Default Saddlebag wear plate

What do I us to attach the saddlebag wear plate.
It's the metal part that attaches to the fiberglass saddlebag lid that holds it closed on the inner side of the bag.

Is it just glued?
What kind of glue?

If you're talking about the metal plate in the back of the bags (inside), mine's riveted on.

I have a 95 flht and it looks like they are glued on.
The hole are in the plate for rivets but the bags aren't drilled.

Had one work it's way off of my 95 FLHTCU. I just re-attached it with silicone.
