Kees and Spanners do Custom
Met Kees at "Rumble in tha Alley" a small scale custom show on the North Shore.
There were some very interesting bikes, if like me you don't like high dollar, catalogue bling bikes.
Not everything there was Harley but there are some young punks round our way who build (and I mean build from scratch) their own customs using Ironheads and Yamaha XS650's...I like these dudes and what they are doing.
Anyway, here are some pics:
Kees and My good self
Anna, the token Yank I took along for the ride
Bikes!!!!

John, I am gonna be a total douche and just disagree with the blue panhead. I hate the weld-on hardtail job done as well as the japper rear brake. I do like the half-moon floorboards and the classic black jugs with natural milled heads. I wish we got another close-up of the un-restored, unmolested cone shovel behind the blue pan. But hey man to each his own, right?
There are a lot of long bikes down there in NZ. I like a few of them had some nice girder front ends as well as the Ironheads just looking plain awesome. I only caught one genny-shovel. Some nice chop-jobs.
Thanks for sharing Andy!

Cool "Ole skool"
Some nice bikes, Spanners. I love the old iron, myself. I still have 2, 1966 FL & a 1951 FL. The old bikes are a labor of love, imo. Don't ride em , as much as I use to , cuz the Lowrider is so damn dependable. If ya ever get to the states, again, head to Alabama & check out this place: https://barbermotorsports.com/park/
You really need a whole day to look & you still prolly won't see it all.
