Center punch then drill with a left handed bit. Often times the drilling will loosen and run it out. If it don't, warm the head with a hair dryer and use an ez-out.

Default Broken bolt

I just brought the bike and apparently I did not brake it at all.I have small plastic bins I mark front and rear rocker so when Im removing bolts I put them in the bins as I go along.I checked my bins and only have 2 of the 3 inside bolts for the rear cylinder rocker box and 3 for the front so that must explain the washer I found floating around did not think any thing of it thought maybe I dropped it but Im very careful.so someone else snapped it off and never fixed it.

This bike has been saved by me, was left in the rain when I brought it tearing it down and restoring it.She also had 2 broken piston rings front and back.Cylinders, heads valves all look good lucky the rings did not roll on the last owner would have caused major damage

ok,I thought maybe hitting it with some PB blaster wouldn't hurt either.

It sure won't hurt! Glad you can bring it back to life... Good luck.

edit: be careful if/when using the ez out... you don't want to break that thing off in the bolt. Then, it'll get ugly...

EZ Outs have to be mis-named.

A good engineering shop can spark erode the bolt out and that does not ruin the threads or the head.

You should start a KINO FLT thread and post everything there... then we can keep track.
I cut the rear off, welded a fat washer with a 1/4 20 nut on the back and then screwed in some bling... I'll post some pics shortly.

Try a sharp awl or chisel on the edge and try to turn it. Sometimes the broken off part is actually loose and is easy to get.

I`m also a big fan of the left hand drill bit, a great invention.
